The word that gets you into the adoption club?  wait.

There haven't been any updates, so please just continue to pray + wait with us!  We know that our profile (picture collage + birthmother's letter) is being shown, so the birth mother is definitely on our hearts + minds right now especially.  What an overwhelming, hard (no words can even come close to what I imagine she is going through) choice she has to make.  We can only pray until we meet her.

Thanks for standing by with us as we wait to meet our baby someday!

We are absolutely blown away by the response to our eFree Adoption Fundraiser this morning!  We are SO thankful for everyone who came, gave, hugged, asked, shared in our excitement, and helped!  
Words aren't enough to share our deep gratitude to our amazing support system.  We cannot wait to share with our child the many, many people who gathered around us to help bring them home.  From the beginning, some adoption friends said that finances would definitely be a huge part of our testimony - she was right!  My mom shared with me her verse for the morning + it was absolutely timely: 

I will bless my people and their homes around my holy hill. And in the proper season I will send the showers they need. There will be showers of blessing.
~ Ezekiel 34:26, NLT

God completely poured out this morning!  How amazing it is to step out knowing He will bless us + then to watch as those around us so willingly allow God to use them!

Thriving as an Adoptive Family!

I have been absolutely loving this book + wanted to share.  As we have been doing our home study visits, the resources we have been given have been overwhelming, out-dated, + extremely secular.  I am so, so thankful for this book + I will recommend it to anyone ever even considering adoption.
Even if you aren't considering adoption, it's an amazing resource on how to support birth mothers, adoptees, + adoptive parents!
